
Open Entertainment is a talent and literary management company based in Los Angeles and successfully represents actors and literary talent for film, television and theatre worldwide.
Open Entertainment was established to guide, bridge and support transitioning “talent” from foreign countries. The companies continued growth and success are a direct result of the level of “top notch” talent represented and the hands on, creative approach the management take with their clients.
Open Entertainment has a number of film and television projects, - scripted and unscripted - in various stages of packaging and development. The principals of the company are acting as producers and executive producers on many of their client's projects, European / Canadian / US co-productions.

Agent & Manager
Lesa Kirk studied graphic design and fine art at Conestoga College in Canada, where she worked as an illustrator specializing in photo-realism.
From a very early age, Lesa had her eye set on the film and television industry. She moved to Vancouver to join the “Hollywood North” boom. Soon she discovered her passion and started working with an established talent agency. An artist at heart with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Lesa incorporated Kirk Talent Agency in 1989. It soon became one of Canada’s leading talent agencies.
While representing some of Canada’s finest actors, she produced, co-produced and Executive produced a number of commercially successful feature films and several award winning and nominated theatre productions.
After participating in the Sundance Producers Conference Lab. Lesa was inspired to start her own Canadian production company, the Vancouver based “Open Entertainment”. A few years later, Lesa moved to Los Angeles and created Open Entertainment’s talent and literary management parent company.
Lesa now manages a select roster of Award winning and nominated actors from Canada, the UK, Scandinavia and the US. She is producing and Executive producing a slate of feature film and television projects starring some of her most sought after clients.
Literary Manager
Daniaile Jarry is an honors graduate of McGill University in Anthropology, Languages and Cinema. She speaks five languages, has extensive experience in international co-productions, traveled the world, and has attended major film festivals for over two decades.
Daniaile is a nominated writer/producer who has worked as head of development and as an International Film Festival programmer. She has a vast knowledge of the feature film and television business and a far-reaching network of international contacts. As Head of the literary division of Open Entertainment US and Canada, Daniaile now manages a select roster of award winning novelists, writers and directors from Canada, Europe and the US.
Over the years, Candace has developed an impressive roster of talent across Canada and the US. Her artistic background and comedic interest in the industry gives her a unique edge in the business.
Executive Assistant
Raised in Southern California, Lyn got her Bachelors Degree in Creative Writing from UCR and her Masters degree in Film and Screenwriting from USC's school of cinematic arts, where she first learned about talent management as a job possibility.
After landing a position at a leading talent management/production company in LA, Lyn joined Open Entertainment in the summer of 2014, and has enjoyed every moment of it. Assisting in all aspects of our clientele's national and international representation, Lyn also gives script notes and script coverage for our collection writers and directors. Lyn continues to write her own projects.
